„The Island is a great place to stay. It’s right on the water, and we enjoyed long days relaxing, swimming and being out on the water on the stand-up paddle boards and in the kayaks. We had a wonderful night a night of fishing right off the dock when the lake was calm and our boys caught some fish. The sunsets were gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. „This was the perfect property for our group of 12 ranging in age from 3-79 years old. There was something for everyone at this beautiful historic bungalow on the Rock River: fishing, kayaking, relaxing (indoors and out), a closet full of board games, a jukebox and game room, etc. All recreational equipment (kayaks, life jackets, bicycles, fishing poles etc) was in excellent working order. The house was amply furnished with comfortable beds, fresh linens, cozy spaces to relax, and place settings ...

„This home was a good fit for our group of 5 adults. Check-in was smooth, Kate gave great instructions and everything in the home was well labeled. The bedrooms were comfortable and had enough space. The backyard looked lovely although it was too hot out for us to enjoy. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The staircase to all 3 bedrooms is very steep - not a problem for our group but could be for someone with balance or mobility issues. “
