The Modern Craftsman Home is professionally cleaned between every stay. All bed linens and towels are provided and freshly laundered between every guest.

KITCHEN AND DINING

The kitchen has Jenn-Air appliances, including an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, plus butcher block counters, a toaster and a blender. We provide pots and pans, a baking sheet, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses, plus a combination drip and single-cup coffee maker with starter packs of Door County Coffee. Gather at the dining table or out on the patio.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap, a hair dryer, an iron, hangers and portable fans are provided. A first aid kit, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are on site.



Guest Access:

Guests have the entire house, the front porch, and the backyard with its patio and fire pit. The garage stays closed during your stay. The Egg Harbor Hideaway, a guest suite above the garage, is rented separately; it has its own private entrance, and there are no shared spaces or walls other than the driveway. Free parking is available in the driveway.



The Neighborhood:

The home sits just off Highway 42, Egg Harbor's main street, so the village's shops, restaurants and Main Street Market are a short stroll from the door. Highway 42 continues up the bay side of the peninsula to Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay, while County Highway E leads to the quiet side and Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor. Sturgeon Bay is about 20 minutes south.



Getting Around:

You'll need a car to get here, and you can park in the driveway. Downtown Egg Harbor is an easy walk, and the rest of the peninsula is a short drive.

The Modern Craftsman Home is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.



•The Egg Harbor Hideaway above the garage is rented separately and may be occupied during your stay. Hideaway guests do not have access to the backyard.

•Traveling with a larger group? The house and the Hideaway can be booked together.

•Garbage is picked up Fridays; the company pulls in to collect the cans in front of the garage.

•Built and managed by DoCo Vacations; our own team launders the linens in-house.

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a keypad door lock. You'll receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, along with our digital guidebook of favorite Door County spots. Your stay is managed by the local DoCo Vacations team, so if you need anything, we're always a short phone call or message away.
