Casa Nido is hands down my favorite VRBO home. The property is beautiful, inside and out, with every necessity taking care of, and so many thoughtful benefits like the turntable with vinyl, the skylight in the main bedroom, the KitchenAid mixer, the brand new washer and dryer, bathrobes and flip-flops for the hot tub, and a wine refrigerator. The exterior grounds are spacious, quiet, and beautifully landscaped. The interior is new and has many tasteful touches. Then there are the main attractions: a wonderful view of the Taos mountains, sitting by a chimnea fire and watching the stars, and sitting in a wonderful hot tub and looking at the mountains or the stars.
I highly recommend Casa Nido and would go back in a heartbeat.
I can think of only two very minor complaints. First, the electric fireplace is the only heat source for the house and it is on the opposite side of the main bedroom. There is a space heater right by the main bed to address that which we didn't use, however there is an easier solution if you are willing to keep the bedroom door open to let the heat in.
Second, the price advertised was artificially low and the final cost at checkout was much higher because of the highest fees I have ever seen. That was very annoying and stopped me from immediately reserving the property, but in the end the total cost was close to other comparable properties in the area.
