We booked this home at the last minute and I can’t believe it was available! We have lived in simple luxury all week! We have stayed at many top-notch places and this beats them all. This place is CLEAN. The beds are comfortable. There is space and privacy for all — with plenty of places to come together. The pool and hot tub were worth every penny to heat for us in March - even during the “hot” spell. We spent hours in there and never once had to get used to the water. Everything is labeled and helpful. I was pleased that there was foil, plastic wrap, and ziplocs! Those little touches are nice. The neighborhood is super quiet but only 5 minutes from a mall with a target and food. We were able to eat all our meals at home. The grill worked great! The BEAUTY was something to behold! Lemon and orange trees on the property. Flowers and trees and plants of all kinds. Gorgeous! Winter in Illinois makes you appreciate that so much!The host replies nearly instantly. And is helpful and kind and experienced. San Diego is about a 45 minute drive without much traffic and sometimes there is traffic…We went in to the city for fun activities three days in a row and it was not too much for us. There was still time to relax.We loved the tide pools at La Jolla and being able to rent jet skis! The guys enjoyed the USS Midway. This place gives you access to any kind of vacation you want to have. This is one place we would actually book again. Thanks so much for the memories!
