This house fell well short of what we expected from a VRBO Premier Host property. The biggest issue was the dishwasher. We had seven people in the house and discovered on our first full day that it didn't work. We reported it immediately. A day later we were told a technician would come. Then nobody showed up and we had to follow up ourselves. Eventually a technician diagnosed a failed pump and told us he had actually worked on the same dishwasher just a few weeks earlier. The host later told us a new dishwasher had been ordered, but it was never installed during our stay. So seven adults spent an entire week hand-washing dishes in a house that was advertised as a luxury rental. The house itself was also more tired and worn than the listing photos suggest. Nothing was disastrous, but the overall condition didn't match the premium image presented online. What bothered me most was the disconnect between the marketing and the reality. The listing talks about professional management and a high-end guest experience, but when a major appliance failed, the problem dragged on for the entire week without a solution. We still enjoyed RMNP because we were with friends and spent most days hiking, but I would not describe this property as "luxury," and I would think twice before renting from this host again.
