We were very happy with our stay at the Town home, Deering Crest. The view was rather incredible.
We experienced zero issues with check in and zero issues with the Town home itself. We were aware of the deck issues beforehand and so we didn't use the deck and we were perfectly fine with that. We were simply happy that there was an available place to stay near the national park and also estes park.
My only complaint that I have was not with the property but with the construction workers a couple of doors down. For some strange reason the workers always blocked -both sides- of the driveway - fully blocked, trapped actually! - and we would have to ask them on a daily basis to move their vehicles (and properly park them) so that we could get in and out of the property.
Really now, out of respect for guests using the property the construction workers need to be more considerate of others access, to and from, the property.
Perhaps SkyRun can have a chat with the owner of the other property and put a halt to it so that other guests won't have to deal with it. What would be really effective is for them to get a parking citation from law enforcement (and, since I'm such a nice guy, I didn't have the police come out to issue them a citation. At the end, we were getting kinda burned out on the parking situation).
Really though, there is plenty - plenty - of room for folks to park and there really isn't any excuse for folks blocking -both sides- of the driveway and trapping the guests or blocking them from accessing the property.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that.
