If you donât mind living on a slant it is fine. Appears to be sliding down the hill. Very small, do not stay there is 6â and 200lbs. Definitely for only one person. Especially if you donât want to end your marriage.
I loved the location and views from the property. It was a cozy cabin for one or two people. The only concern I had was the issue with the heat not working nor was the security lights above the hottub working. Overall loved my stay
Super location. I walked down the stairs and was in the middle of town. Shops, restaurants and a couple parks. RMNP just a short drive. I brought food and clothes, the dishes, towels, and even washer and dryer were available on site. If you want to bring more people they have cabins for families
I liked the place but the bathroom needs repair. I understand that there is limited space but the floor slants to the small kitchen and the shower does not block water due to the very small floor lip so I need to wipe up the floor in the bathroom and in the kitchen for a very short shower.
We enjoyed our stay here for a weekend. However the hot tub was absolutely disgusting, low water, trash floating around, stinky. We didnât get it, but the cabin next door parties both nights in it, loudly, so that could have been the reason behind that. Overall a cute place though.
This little cabin was absolutely perfect. Views were stunning, we ate breakfast while looking at the continental divide, took a few steps and were on the main drag of downtown Estes Park. I would highly recommend this stay to any couple. I know we will be back next year ourselves.
Check in was rough the intro email was buried in trash or junk folder and need email address LT TAYLOR to retrieve. Very small cabin but served our needs, up very early and hiking everyday. Bit tricky figuring out how to prepare and cook food in a tiny kitchen but we did. Bathroom not for larger people tiny. Definitely not typical but what we expected and would rent here again.
It was a nice and cozy stay in "Nutshell". A bit of trouble with the lockbox at check-in, but the problem was resolved quickly. It was great to be right in town, and just a very short walk from shops and restaurants.
The bed and trundle were both covered in mouse poop!! Terrible experience, we didnât even stay there because it was filthy.. total waste of time and money! Ew!
Great little spot with easy access to the Rocky Mountains. Proximity to the main Estes Park drag a plus, the hot tub definitely a plus, overall a cute little space.
However, improvements to the unit could include fixing the light outside of the door as it is hard to see on the property at night, updating the light fixtures and switches so you can turn on the lights inside the unit without wandering through the dark cabin and finding a lamp. The cabin itself can use some work as it is slightly tilting to one side but I'm not sure that would be an easy fix. In general, I think some upgrades to the furniture and appliances could greatly enhance the space but it could get the job done depending on how long you stay there and your purpose.
