„A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied.“

„Jim and Mona are the best host! They make sure you have what you need and always go above and beyond. The dog park is a great addition and so convenient. We love being able to walk to town and back. The dock has plenty of room to hang out and just relax in the water. It is covered so if you need to get out of the sun you are able too.“

„We came up to visit our oldest son & family that we havent seen in 5 yrs. All the grandkids loved it. They loved all the fishing that they did and by the bonfire. Very nice, beautiful, relaxing place. Has everything you need to get away. The sunsets and sunrise were awesome!!! Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake and listening to the geese and their babies. We even seen deer. We will be back in the future to enjoy again.
