« The place was in a lovely setting with a fishable creek across the road, great for us 4 trout fishermen. It was spotless, comfy, and easy to use for prepping meals. You do need to be active to climb up and down all the steps to get in and out, but it was good exercise for 4 aging seniors. And Terri was a very helpful and communicative host. »

« Loved the location…cabin clean and well appointed…kitchen well stocked with pots and pans and things to cook and serve with AC was perfect didn’t need heat …. »

« We could not have asked for a better place to recharge and relax. The house is precious and incredibly clean with lovely views and walking trail to enjoy. Bath Co. is a very special place and so is this home. Thank you! »

« We loved our stay in the forest, it's nice that there are other houses around but at the same time it feels completely secluded. The cabin is gorgeous and we loved hanging out on the porch! The sheets were super soft, water pressure was good, everything was super clean and well taken care of.Some tiny suggestions for improvement that would level up the experience to 6 stars if that was an option: upgrade the 1 ply cheap toiletpaper, add nice pump soap instead of a packaged bar, add one tide pod...

« We loved staying in this cabin. Not only is it by a river (a huge plus for us) but it is roomy. Inside, the kitchen is great: stove, microwave full-size refrigerator, plenty of dishes & flatware, pots & pans, dishwasher, and spices. When you close the bathroom door, the bedroom is really dark in the morning....great for sleeping in! The wraparound porch is fantastic with a round dining table, rocking chairs and gliders. « Nice cabin just in front of a peacful river. Immersed in nature but still within driving distance to cool city activities (check out downtown Staunton and Devil's Backbone Brewery). Would stay here again! »

« It was so peaceful and beautiful. My kids and I stayed. We had a lot of fun. We enjoyed using that oven. The sink is cute. I slept on the bottom bunk it was so incredibly comfortable. Enjoyed the porch a great deal. »

« We were in town for a wedding. This cabin was adorable! The location is a peaceful, quiet gravel road in the country surrounded by rolling hills, farm land and lots of deer. The beds were comfortable and it was such a peaceful getaway! »
