« Overall it was a great experience, our cabin was nice and cleaned. The only down side was the communication i was given some passes but i wasnt told where to or how to used them, some of the recreational activities where closed. But Overall had a great time with my family »

« What an amazing stay. 1790s cabin restored in the 80s. Beautiful and still had all we needed for our trip to the lake. We visited historic Bedford during the day and spent our evenings in this beautiful historic cabin. Met the owner Dave and he gave us a full tour and history. He also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat and places to get great views of the area. »

« Our teen enjoyed the coziness and the husband enjoyed the quiet the most. We were able to enjoy a long weekend away from the DC area, the views and porch were lovely and the house was perfect for a chill weekend away. It rained one day and we enjoyed listening to records, playing games and putting together a puzzle. »

« This Vrbo was a perfect stay for our family while visiting Virginia. The cabin is about 2 miles from ruckersville but is in a perfectly quiet area. Our only critic was in order to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the bathroom with the shower. This was not a large hindrance for our family. Very pleasant owners. Thank you for your hospitality! »

« Such a spacious house and nice, quiet location. We loved the fire pit, corn hole, hot tub, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play, inside and outside. We never felt cramped, despite there being 8 of us plus a dog! Highly recommend! »

« Beautiful home has everything you need and more. Our dogs loved the spacious back yard. George Washington Forest is very close. Perfect area to hike and take in all the beauty this location has to offer. »

« we did a short trip, april 9-11th. The weather was wonderful but with that came the bugs, bees, and other flying critters! Not too bad for the most part. the screened in porch was wonderful to have and the hot tub offered a wonderful view of the mountains. We tried to have a fire with the wood provided but struggled with it not lighting after several attempts, next time we would bring our own wood. We did have a power outage for a few hours but was soon resolved. overall we had a wonderful time...
