Plummerville Creek, a spring fed trout stream runs through the north side of the property and gives a quaint feel to the abode. It's given the name Lighthouse for its 5 story high spiral staircase bringing you the best view on the West shore of Lake MI, would you dare climb to the top?!

The Space:
Walking through the front door you will be greeted with 45 foot tall ceilings and a view through the solarium windows that will immerse you into the surrounding nature. Whether you are wanting to get away or needing to get away, this home will truly give you and your loved ones a retreat. Enjoy watching the iconic Lake Michigan sunsets while sipping your beverage of choice made on the bar cart behind you. There is not a room in this home that doesn't provide you with a stunning view. Each space was uniquely designed for people to gather and for lifetime memories to be made. During the fall season enjoy winery tours, the beautiful changing of leaves, and activities that usher in the holiday season.

About the Space :

Two screened porches allow you to feel the breeze of the beach and hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The crows nest atop the 5 story staircase will give you a view for miles. The next level down or the upstairs, features a dedicated workspace and a cozy reading nook with a spacious bathroom in between featuring a large soaking tub. Two rooms are located on this level, one with two queen beds and two closets with a pack ‘n play for the little ones. The other room features a walk out balcony with a view of both the lake and the creek and a queen size bed, funky lamps, and a pack ‘n play as well. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators, a walk in pantry, and a trash compactor. You will find all the essentials to make a great meal including knives, cookware, and utensils. Adjacent to the kitchen is a long wooden dining table able to accommodate 14 people and 3 bar stools next to it to serve your wonderful meals and share your highs and lows of the day. Outside the kitchen is an outdoor dining experience and a grill for those wonderful summer nights. The living area features a sectional couch and other fun chairs to gather the group. A bar cart is located on one side of the room and a cabinet full of games is located on the other. In the solarium there is two comfy chairs to enjoy coffee or tea in the morning and a little table for breakfast time or a small card game. Off of the living room is the master bedroom. This bedroom features an arched bed frame that connects to the architecture of the home. Two cozy seats sit across from the bed for early lounging and provide a space of peace and tranquility if you have a crazy crew. Next to the master is another bedroom with a queen bed and a funky mural providing a light and fun statement to the space. Across from this bedroom is a full bathroom stocked with all the essentials. Continue down the spiral lighthouse stairs another level and you will enter into the fun zone. A dramatic 86” TV with a premium sound bar is mounted on the wall in this area and the couches provide comfortable ample seating for the whole gang. Next to this space is a room with custom, built-in, queen bunk beds that sleep 8 and each of these spaces have a light and charging port. Adjacent to this area is the arcade room! Featuring Pac Man, Mortal Combat, and other iconic arcade games and a small basketball hoop to play on. It is “game on” in this room.

Location :

Located near local farms and artisan markets, you will not be far from the unique small town attractions. The Lighthouse is about 15 mins from downtown Saugatuck/Douglas and about 20 mins from downtown South Haven. We have a book full of our favorite attractions around the area including golf options, wineries, local eateries, and more!

The Neighborhood:
Located on a private road just off of the main drag. There is a beautiful bridge that you cross over to get to the driveway.

Getting Around:
Car is the best way to get around, however the road is great for biking or a leisurely walk!

Please note we do have a rental agreement for you to sign.
