« Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again »

« If you are looking for a quiet and out of the way place to stay then this is definitely it! Part of the old farm house I guess, the cottage is very well appointed even to an air fryer. There is also a lovely garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, hopefully longer next time, we will return….. »

« The cabin is in excellent condition with a good range of quality kitchen ware. The view is fantastic. This really is one of best cabins to hire in Bassenthwaite. We have stayed here on a few occasions and will be returning soon. »

« We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely. »

« We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. « The hut is as described on the website - no nasty surprises. Views are stunning even in the rain. Plenty of space to bbq / camp fire outside. It is quite remote spot which is what we were looking for and if there had been no cloud I’m sure the star show would’ve been spectacular. »
