„This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit ...

„Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. “

„A small, clean, well kept cabin nestled in a quiet location on the edge of the rv park. A great spot for sitting on the porch and even some wild life to watch. Chris is a great host!“

„Unfortunately we were in town for a wedding so we didn't get to use the fire pit but we will be coming back for a second stay! The wagon is so unique and the host, Chris, tours you through and tells you all about it and the campground. Its beautiful and well stocked for a relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend for people who want a fun stay or outdoorsy people. “

„This place is perfect if you are wanting some peace and quiet. The owners were very nice and responsive. Beautiful country views. I would have explored more but it was pretty hot while I was there. It has a nice porch where you can view the skies and listen to birds. I will definitely visit again! “

„The property far exceeded anything I could’ve imagined. photos don’t do it justice! The house was in perfect and clean condition and the outside grounds were gorgeous! I love the beautiful decorative pond out front. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to book another trip back! “
