« The cabin has the bare minimum in the way of furniture, decor, linens, etc. A little bit more effort in making it more inviting and cozy would go a long way. There are no curtains or blinds, barely enough linens for the futon (which is counted as a bed), no utensils, nothing on the walls, no bedroom or closet door. It could be a very cute place with a little effort. »

« Stayed here for a baseball tournament that one of my kids was playing in Ruston. Only a 17 minute (super easy trip) from the driveway to the Ruston Sports Complex! Owner was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend! »

« As first I was a little skeptical about the location being in the middle of town and on the main street, but after staying I wouldn't hesitate coming back. You can park in the back yard with plenty area and close the gate behind you. The house must be well insulated because the road noise in nonexistent. The story behind the house was a plus and it tells you all about it on one of the walls on the inside. I'm not going to spoil it. Also the house is completely spotless and very up to date. We...

« Great VRBO for a family. We were in the area for a graduation and it was a great spot to return to for a restful night. Clean and comfortable. »

« We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The view of the lake was incredible. It was a good 20 minutes into Natchitoches but the drive was through the country so the scenery was great.The is very comfortable. The bed was great. Live all the ceiling fans!We would definitely stay here again! »

« We had a wonderful time, house is ample and offers many amenities. Great location as well, many beautiful oaks in the area »

« Beautiful cottage that is very quiet and restful. Great navigation instructions, everything was clean and had nice little amenities. The view from the covered porch was absolutely tranquil and gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. »

« This property is paradise in the country! Chatham is the root of our family so it was great to be in Chatham and still be free enough to do all the things we used to do with my grandfather when we visited 20 years ago. Now that my grandad is older being able to make it easier for him to come to where he is is important to us! This home had everything we wanted, needed and didn’t know we needed! All the way down to a sharpie! Dawn was more than helpful and communicative! Loved this experience »

« Very clean and homey feel! Only wish we could of had check in instructions a couple of days before and the hot tub was a bit disappointing, very low to the ground and wasn't like a true free-standing hot tub. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. »
