« No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. « Clean spacious flat although it's on a very busy main road. We booked it because of the garden but it was unusable because it was totally overgrown so nowhere to sit or stand. Another point I would like to make is that for safety we think there should be a hand rail on the stairs as they are quite steep and there is nothing to hold on to. Location is central to going places in the area. »

« Old Carriage House converted into a wonderful apartment. We loved the location of this stay. We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London. If we are ever in the Colchester area again, we will definitely stay...

« Ideally situated at a farm with fields around. Compact property with living room/kitchen, bedroom and shower room/toilet. Very comfortable. TV in living room. Very warm reception from our host, Emma, who kept enquiring for further needs. »

« This place had some lovely little touches to it, from the trolly cart to ferry our belongings to a receiving a welcome letter from Charlie. We had a lovely couple of days here. Spent time in the hot tub and the evenings by the fire pit after having a lovely BBQ. There were kids in the fields behind paying foot ball in what must have been their back garden which that's perfectly fine but i think the swearing shocked us a little bit. However that said we still had a lovely time. Felt sad...
