„We had an excellent trip. River was amazing and we especially liked reading the Legends of the Au Sable book that was left for guests. House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. Did not care for the camera in the backyard that I could hear every time I walked by while playing bocci ball. Recommend taking food with since there are only two bars and a dollar general in town. „Came up to the area for a weekend of golf at Forest Dunes. The home is beautiful. Everything was well appointed and thought out. „Awesome newly redone property. Easily parked our boat in the drive, close to both Higgins and Houghton Lake. We are avid road cyclists and the location allowed us to take off each morning for 25-40 mile rides on beautiful paved roads. Highly recommend this property. Will definitely reserve property again if we are looking for a rental in this area. “

„8 adults went for the weekend for a local wedding across the lake at Sojourn. That facility was booked up. The Bigfoot Lodge was a FANTASTIC alternative, and I would say even better than staying on site. The rooms were clean. The firepit in the backyard was perfect - wood and starter bundles ready to go!
