« A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. « Beautifully renovated cottage with comfortable bed and modern washroom. Conveniently located for exploring Guisborough and helpful guidebook with suggestions for the kids and adults. The grocery store is a 5-minute block away also. Andy was very helpful and easy to communicate with. »

« The property exceeded what we were expecting. Very clean, fully equipped with kitchen cutlery, plates, cups etc. Cannot fault the property, area, or hospitality shown by the owners. We are looking forward to booking again, this time for a little longer. »

« Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small. »

« Had a wonderful stay at Cedar Retreats this weekend. The lodge was very modern and looked like new. We spent a great deal of pur time in the hot tub which was so relaxing and very warm. « This was a one night stay on our way to Edinburgh with our dogs. It was exactly what we needed a comfortable, clean and well equipped room right next to a lovely pub that is also dog friendly. Sonia and the team couldn't do enough for us, fetching water for our dogs after a long journey. Asking if we had everything we needed. We had a good meal that night and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Such a friendly place, we will definitely be back! »

« This cottage has a really nice vibe very clean and ideally situated for visiting Thirsk and the local communities. The market square is a few short steps away The railway station is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away, but it does have a bus service if the weather is not too good The cottage is spread over 3 storeys and is modern kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sitting/living room is 1st floor and bedroom top floor.
