My large family goes to Mentone every Thanksgiving but this year my husband and I wanted a private place to really get away from it all and this gorgeous location really hit the mark. It has all the amenities you could possibly need but if you are a streaming junkie like we are I’d bring your Roku stick. It was easy to get around to places like Cloudland Canyon, DeSoto state park, Little River Canyon, etc. The cabin was comfy and worked well for us with the 2 1/2 baths. The beds were comfortable. I slept well every night of our stay. We especially loved using the fireplace on the screened in back porch. Be aware that the Mentone restaurants are generally open on the weekends.
