„Wir haben im Juli 2022 3 Wochen im Castle verbracht und haben es sehr genossen! Für uns hat alles perfekt gepasst! Der Bau, die Ausstattung und die einmalige Lage mit der wunderbaren Aussicht machen diese FeWo einzigartig. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung gemacht. Sind zum Meer herunter gelaufen, haben die Ruhe genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist definitiv ein Ort um wieder einmal hinzugehen.“

„The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little ...

„The cottage is great, it was very clean and unusually well equipped. We enjoyed the calm and quiet, the children especially loved the sheep right in front of the little garden. The location is well situated to have great days out, there is so much to do in the area. The hosts are very friendly and especially helpful.“

„Angate cottage is nicely decorated, well maintained, clean, and very cosy. Everything needed for a holiday was provided. Despite being located on a busy road the traffic noise was no issue, and especially at night it was very quiet. Short walk to the town center with some good pubs, restaurants and shops. Many good hikes can be started directly from the cottage. Communication with Eileen and Kevin was very fast and friendly, and Kevin showed us around when we arrived. We would love to stay here ...

„Wir können diese Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen! Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns ein wunderschönes Willkommensgeschenk bereit gestellt! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, freundlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es fehlt an nichts! Sehr ruhige Lage. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Thank you Diane und David!“

„At the last minute (day before) my accommodation was cancelled & I was given 2 alternative options, given the lateness I opted for one, it was good, but the instructions to enter underground car park & accommodation was extremely very poor, resulting in me getting very stressed & having to phone the letting agent, wasn't happy at all, they apologised & said they'd get back to me, after they read the instructions of an email I got, still awaiting their reply. Disappointed“

„Nice and comfortable place with everything you need, convenient stores 5 mins walk, there are bus stops, but I think is convenient to have a car and there is a great driveway next to the house and the beds are clean & comfortable. The only downside for me it’s not pet friendly anymore, she had a bad experience in the past with other guests and asked as soon as I arrived if my small dog would be kept in a crate during my stay.
