« We had a wonderful stay at the Spotted Grouper. The cottage is quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico were beautiful. We enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting shells, and really appreciated how close to nature the area is â including an unexpected bear sighting!We stayed in December, which was a great time to visit: cool and chilly mornings and evenings, with sunny, comfortably warm days. I traveled from Annapolis with my mom, and the trip was especially meaningful...

« Our family had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone to be alone when they needed it, but absolutely plenty of space to come together. Kitchen was fully stocked with all of the pots/pans/utensils needed. The house is right on the water with convenient access. The front yard was perfect for our dog. The beach amenities were great. Contact with the host was quick and easy. We loved it and would love to come back. »

Lisa, the host, was wonderful, responded to my text in a timely fashion & gave a great recommendation to go to Edward Ball park & boat ride to see alligators & beautiful birds at historic park our grandchildren werenât w/ us but a great house for childrenâs/ game room etc,, thanks Lisa »

« The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing and both decks provided comfortable seating to watch sunsets. A plus was the little fenced in area so we could let the dogs out in the middle of the night. If youâre looking for a relaxing, out of the way location, this place is perfect. There are lots of stairs so be prepared and keep in mind that restaurants and grocery stores are not nearby. »
