„The Pine Tree Retreat at ADK Getaway was just absolutelty perfect. The cottage was Immaculate, very comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly need. Beth and Chris were by far the best hosts we ever had. They were very kind and concerned about our comfort. We had a wonderful and restful vacation at the Pine Tree Retreat. We cannot thank Beth and Chris enough. We highly recommend ADK Getaway. We will be coming back.“

„My fiance and I loved our stay at the Beech House. All the amenities were fantastic and we were extremely close to the Adirondacks Park. The house has everything you needed for a short or long stay, and plenty of firewood for nights by the campfire. The host was attentive to our needs and the house itself was quirky and fun. I loved all the colors and the porch at night was amazing. We would definitely stay here again, can’t recommend it enough! “

„This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!“

„The lake is gorgeous and the location was perfect -- secluded and private but also convenient to town. We were very comfortable at the cabin (even when it got down to 40 degrees one night) and would certainly go back. During our stay especially enjoyed the walking trail in the woods where the house is located, kayaking and swimming in the lake, and hearing the calls of loons in the evenings. “

„My husband and I stayed for three nights and were very impressed with the little A-frame. First, it’s really in a great location and close to everything we wanted to do… hikes, restaurants and little shops.The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Love all the amenities inside and out. The hot tub was a nice treat especially after a long hike. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!“

Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort

"Unser Zimmer lag am Ende des Ganges, hier kam nur ein sehr geringer Teilnder Frischluft an, so dass wir drei Tage in unserem eigenen "Mief" verbringen mussten ohne ausreichende Sauerstoffzufuhr. Wir mussten daher mehrmals die Zimmertür zum Flur öffnen, um nicht zu ersticken. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Auch wurde die feuchte Luft nach dem Duschen nicht abgesaugt, so dass die Feuchtigkeit am Spülkasten der Toilette kondensierte und Fützen auf dem Boden bildete. Die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer war auch nicht in Ordnung. Schön war die Außenanlage mit tollen Sitzmöglichkeiten am See."
