« From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. »

« Our whanau stayed at the Verandah to attend our Kori’s 80th birthday. We had a large group staying so needed a big place. This property was awesome, it was big enough to easily accommodate us all comfortably, and we never felt as though we were tripping over each other. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook all our meals during our stay, so we weren’t having to eat out.
