« We were a Red Hat Ladies group of 5 women of a “certain age” who came to Schulenberg to see the Painted Churches. The house was the perfect place for us to stay since it is located just a short distance from the Chamber of Commerce where the tour started! Also, the house is located right across from the police department:). All five of us enjoyed the “Victorian” decor and home. « Totally outfitted rental - everything one would need was provided. Clean and comfortable linens. Nice touches like good coffee and welcome water bottles. Central location easy drive to fun spots like Spoetzl brewery in Shiner and Moravia Store near Hallettsville. »

« Cabin was very nice. Beds comfy. Gameroom was ok-needs some attention pool tables playable but in bad condition. Sticks were almost unusable. Swimming pool was great-plenty of shade spots! »
