« A little birthday weekend away with our two spaniels and what a fantastic place. This is obviously someone’s home it was perfect. It had everything. From fold up tables to eat at if you didn’t want to use the breakfast bar, to recliner chairs and sofa. The whole house was spotless and we felt welcome from the moment we received the arrival instructions from the owner. « Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. »

« Great communication from the host, easy to get into the property, we were lucky to get a parking space round the corner, popped to tesco & got a space over the road, permit was from 12 until 12 the next day but she extended it for us! « The property is superb - spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable with extremely tasteful fixtures & fittings. Faye (the owner) was very professional pre-holiday, replying within minutes regarding a couple of queries. This point offered surety, when based against the 'fob-off', fake news merchants within todays society. We were 2 adults with our 2 young grand children, and pleasantly suprised with the amount of room internally, plus separate eating and relaxing area along the ample patio...

« We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain. »

« Property was lovely, communication excellent. It would just take a couple of things for a 5 star ie two big towels as two people staying, additional toilet roll, kitchen to have more utensils. The listing really should mention the tv is almost impossible as the wifi signal is bad and maybe have some games or puzzles available as we were not aware the tv would just buffer constantly.. Also instructions on central heating, oven etc as they were new to us and took a bit of figuring. It was just...

« This is an amazing place to stay, the placed is well equipped with everything you need and more, it feels so relaxing and to know that you are 5 mins away from a busy little town. 9 ladies couldn't find fault with cleanliness, amenities and space. Would we go back again, already looking »

« Really nice cottages with lots of thoughtful touches and lovely surroundings. Lots of care has been put in to every aspect. Even the standard cottage folder is bespoke with individual laminated walking maps inside. Excellent location for Beverley and the Humber and local village has three nice pubs and the property owners couldn’t be more helpful. »
