« The Firefly Cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and lots of clean towels in kitchen and bath; plenty of TP, kleenex, salt and pepper, and a few other kitchen items to use. There were 3 TV's! We did have difficulty getting the sound loud enough on the TV, couldn't figure it out. We could have called owner and I'm sure they would have helped...

« This cabin was tucked away in a nice part of Wisconsin and made for a lovely time away. There was a multitude of items that we were allowed to use during our stay that made it incredibly convenient- like the charcoal grill and various pots and pans inside. Extra kudos to the host for having quick response times and always being very helpful with any questions that we had. »

« We seek a remote and quiet property every Fourth of July. This home fit the bill perfectly. It was well appointed, comfortable and stylish. Lush surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay again! »

« This was a lovely home with all the amenities. Great mattress and pillows, comfortable living room furniture, loved dining table and chairs that had wonderful view of trees along back yard. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking all meals. Appreciated TV, and box fan in bedroom, plus extra outlet plugs near bed for charging devices. Loved back deck with table and chairs to enjoy all the birds in the trees. There was a gas grill on the deck but I didn’t use. Very scenic drive to get to this...

« This property is truly a gem, making us feel at home yet at a 5-star resort! We traveled for a last minute July 4th holiday visit to see family in Dubuque and hit an absolute jackpot in the Galena Territories! The house was perfect for our three 20-something kids, spouses, and our first 7 month old grandson. The rooms are all huge, the beds were extremely comfy and there were so many special little touches! Mike and Jana were amazing hosts, providing yard and board games and helpful suggestions...

« The house was great! It was very clean, well stocked and decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal. It was close enough to downtown to easily walk, but far enough not to have to deal with parking/noise issues. The host was very nice and easy to work with. I would stay there again. »
