« This is an amazing spot on the Shenandoah River! We caught so many fish. We even had a fish fry one evening because a couple of the bass we caught were more than 15 in.!The property and house were spacious and clean and well cared for. »

« Place looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean and check in was easy. It was a plus that many essentials were already there....ziploc bags, tin foil, toilet paper, condiments, coffee etc. It was a 20 minute drive to the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Neighborhood was quiet and you could unwind on the beautiful back screened in porch. There was a propane fire table (not sure what to call it) where we made smores at night on the deck. I would definitely recommend this property ! »

« This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! »

« I loved everything about this stay. The charm of a "Hobbit House" only 2 hours from my home was exceptional. The owners thought of all the details. The house was filled with magic and wizardry everywhere even cute miniature LOTR/Hobbit characters hidden in the walls. Then, the screened in porch and patio were perfect for morning coffee and 1st breakfast. So close to hiking, caverns and wineries, but yet you feel away from all the hustle that life fills you with. This home is a real gem...
