„This is a great place if you want immerse yourself in nature, and are looking for something different than an impersonal hotel in the city. View is amazing from the window, and you can walk up to the mountain in the backyard. There are chickens roaming around, horses in the meadow nearby, and the atmosphere is wonderful. „Siggi is a perfect and extremely kind host, and the home is a wonderful starting point to explore Iceland. Seltjarnarnes is a great place, with the grotta lighthouse, bird shores, the Kvika footbath and the wonderful hill panoramic view in short walking distances. The bikes and the very close bus station are perfect for Reykjavik, and the robust Subaru kindly provided by Siggi lead us to many incredible experiences. Thanks a lot for wonderful holidays!“

„The house was very spacious and comfortable. Our group numbered 8, and with the additional apartment space downstairs, it was just the right size for us. We prepared most of our meals there -- lunch usually consisted of sandwiches, and dinner was at "home". The kitchen was modern and well equipped, and the dining area was quite spacious. All in all, while it was pricy (everything in Iceland is!), it was a great investment for us. Thanks, Maria! “

„We liked it here a lot. The Apartment is close to the sea in a quiet neighbourhood yet you can get easily to central Reykjavik with car or bus (or take a long walk by the sea). There is all neccessairy equipment in Kitchen and bathroom and you can wash and dry clothes in a room in the basement. Everything in the apartment was really clean. „In country for a family wedding. Quiet neighborhood and very clean and comfortable accommodations. Great value and as a frequent visitor, I would highly recommend it. “

We had one upset teen who had to sleep in the family room which was a bummer. But the house is nice and the private guest house was a great quiet space. “

"Ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel, das sich vom Komfort und von der Atmosphäre von vielen anderen Hotels in Island deutlich positiv abhebt. Sehr großzügige, saubere Zimmer. Gemütlich eingerichtet und einen wunderschönen Blick von der eigenen Terrasse der Zimmer auf den See. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und gut. "
