„Had a lovely holiday at Meadow End Barn celebrating my 70th birthday with family.Property clean and well equipped,although a washing line would have been useful.Coralie and villagers very friendly and welcoming.Had a couple of meals at the local pub,very friendly staff and very accommodating for disabled members in my party. „Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.“

„We enjoyed staying at the cottage in Luston. There was lots of room for us and our two friends and we enjoyed having a bathroom each. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was room for four of us to sit at the dining table. There are lots of places to visit e.g castles and manor houses which are just a short drive away. Our hosts Amy and James made us feel welcome.“

„Wir durften eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbringen. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits in wundervoller Natur und bietet alles, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Viel Ruhe und Natur umgeben das Haus, nachts leuchtet ein traumhafter Sternenhimmel. Drei Katzen und jede Menge Schafe auf der Weide komplettieren das Urlaubsidyll. „Das Bake House ist gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Alles an Gebrauchsgegenständen war vorhanden. Bei einem Regentag lässt es sich phantastisch im Wintergarten sitzen, mit Blick auf einem wunderschönen Garten. Es ist dort absolut ruhig. Der kleine Fluss Monnow fließt unterhalb des Gartens. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen. Es sind ein paar Pubs (sehr leckeres Essen dort)in kurzer Entfernung. Ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto.“

„Oth0er than an issue with the lights that the management were more than happy to deal with, the apartment was excellent, very well appointed and scrupulously clean. Very comfortable and would stay there again. Brilliantly positioned close to the Wye, ice cream van, coffee shop, playing fields, Cathedral and town!“

„Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.“

„We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!“
