« Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be...

« A little green in the countryside, close enough to everything, while feeling secluded. As a solo female with a dog, this was everything i needed. The fenced in area for pets was perfect, and the covered porch, divine. I would definitely come back »

« The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake! »

« This cottage was so beautiful, peaceful and serene. From the way it was decorated on the inside, which included a sweet note and gift of bread, to the stunning water and sunset views on the outside. The host and everyone we met here were so kind and helpful. A relaxing vacation in nature by the water, filled with a community of wonderful people. We hope to return soon!!! »

« We had a wonderful 4 weeks. The house was very comfortable especially the beds! All though the weather was unseasonably hot (so we were told), the air conditioning kept the house cool.We had a couple of glitches but they were all solved with a text to the owner. We very much enjoyed the daily visits from the deer, the gray squirrels and the various birds. We fell in love with the area and added some great new friends. »

« We had a wonderful fishing weekend!! We can't wait to hopefully come back in the Spring! The house was great, super clean, so much information left about the area. The host was so helpful from the day we booked, and even checked on us while we were there! Cant wait to come back »

« We absolutely loved everything about the Barge Inn. A lovely place at a beautiful location. The golf cart was definitely a huge help since we spent a lot of time at the beach and we stayed as a family of 7. The owners are very attentive and always strive to make your stay the best possible. We loved the porch and the overall feel of the house, everything was very clean. The Internet was fast and the kitchen is well equipped! I even baked a birthday cake there ! 10/10 recommend »
