« This is an awesome cottage. Very spacious with a large well stocked kitchen and good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The view from the front deck is beautiful.. Watching the sunrise over Lake Huron every morning was an excellent way to start the day. There was space enough on the front section of the property to set up a badminton game/ volley ball game. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely return to Sunrise!!!!! »

« We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

« The cabin is really cute and well stocked, the deck is truly wonderful, we just picked the wrong week to stay somewhere with no air conditioning. Yes, there are plenty of fans and if you don't mind the heat it won't bother you. Checked the weather for the following week and it would have been exceptional to be there that week! The water is gorgeous- clean and clear, the beach is beautiful, with amazingly soft sand. Would definitely stay there again! »

« We really enjoyed our stay. Convenient for going to the beach, going to town to eat and visiting the surrounding area. Cabin was well equipped. We had a fire in the firepit almost every night and used the grill once too. Thank you. »
