« The apartment reminded me of off-campus housing some friends lived in during college - an older building, not in the best repair, but good enough. In this case, there are some newer things (couch, rugs, TV) juxtaposed with some older things (beds, general condition). Several of the rooms have light switches across the room from the entrance, so you have to walk through a dark room before you turn the light on or after you turn it off.
