The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

« Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. « Our family had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse! There was a space for every mood and interest- hanging by the pool, reading on the porch, listening to music in the den. This home was particularly suited to our family. My three sons stayed in the barn studio and had space to spread out or work remotely when necessary. My husband and I plan on going back very soon! To be honest, my husband and I could just live there!It was super quiet! The cabin is well taken care of and was super clean! You could tell the owners value their cabin and made everything super easy for us! Beautiful place! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway!!! »
