"Cleanliness was not up to expectations. The bathroom was ok but after housekeeping came in the second day, the carpet still had the same dirt on and the window sill sported a thick layer of dust. This hotel is pet-friendly, floor 2 absolutely reeked of ‚wet dog‘. We were on the 4th floor, I just noticed the smell on the 2nd when I used the guest laundry. Staff was very friendly and helpful, also when the guest washer broke down. Breakfast was very good, lots of warm and cold items to choose from. Our room faced the parking lot. Every night, thousands of birds gathered in the trees and made a lot of noise most of the night. This is clearly not the hotel‘s fault, but be aware, ask for a room facing the pool or bring earplugs."
