„We had a lovely stay at Amadeus apartments during October half term (2 adults, 2 children). The apartment was clean and had all of the facilities we needed. There was a washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The beds were comfy and the showers were good. The location was good, and we had no difficulties with parking. The apartment is in a disc parking zone, but this was no problem because we were out for most of the day, and then there were no parking ...

„We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. “

Fantastic hosts Caroline and Mark very helpful when needed and extremely pleasant ensuring any additional needs were required. „Pass code given to us for the front door of the annex and was easy to use. Accommodation was beautiful,immaculate and the welcome touches were much appreciated. There is also a seating area in the garden for use. The annex is located in a quiet area which was perfect for us but also not too far from a decent sized co-op (and other shops)if we needed any groceries. We would recommend this to anyone thinking of having a break in the fantastic Isle of man. “

„Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture ...

"Positives: Room Comfortable. Restaurant good and plentiful with helpful asian staff. Super location with bus stop outside the door. Lift to help accessibility. Reasonably good value for money. Negatives: Reception inpolitie. Severe lack of middle management. Fire Alarm was activated during the night. No proper evacuation procedure. Obvious lack of fire training for staff. No one able to reset the technic and all elderly and special needs guests had to walk many flights of stairs. No roll call or guest checklist. I would still come again and would only cautiously recommend this hotel. "

"We had a wonderful stay in the Halvard hotel. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating for our requests. Our room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the sea and the promenade. The breakfast was excellent, with good options for hot breakfast that's freshly prepared and a small buffet. The location of the hotel is great, being less than 10 min walk from the ferry passenger terminal, on the sea front and downtown area, and in walking distance to the bus station. We loved our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip! Thanks to the Halvard hotel team :)"
