« We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located to where we needed to go. It was very clean and smelled nice. The shower has amazing water pressure, and the large shower head made it feel like I was getting a nice message. I also liked the large gas stove. There were several items that could be used if you forgot something. (Toiletries, condiments, spices, etc.)Two very small things though. The ceiling on the stairs is very low. « Nice house, as described. Nice hosts who were excellent with communication. Solid location for my split time between Downtown GR and Gun Lake. This rental had everything I needed for my 18 night stay, and I was happy with everything about it. Smart TVs to unwind at the end of long days, washer and dryer to stay on top of laundry. « Had a nice long weekend stay. Meet our adult daughter and her fiancé for some family time.The lake house was just as pictured. Everything was labeled. They had more than expected for us to use. Everything we needed. Beach towels, Suntan lotion, mosquito spray, games, Keurig, etc. The couch and the beds were very comfortable. We swam in the lake every day. There are boats to rent, but since we didn’t have the experience we decided not to. Maybe next time. Thanks for a great time. »

« We traveled 13 hours straight and stayed in this home on our way up to the U.P. from Kansas. We got in late and were so tired. The house was perfect. So cozy and clean, the most comfortable bed we have ever had outside of our own. We were very thankful for this place and the owner was amazing! Highly recommend, I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the bikes, hot tub and beautiful backyard with a fire pit. If we are ever in the area again we would love to stay again. »

« This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!! »

« Cute cozy cottage across the street from the lake! Description could be better to say that it’s across the street from the lake (can’t really tell from the pictures) but does have lake access! House was fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials! Front porch was a great place to relax and watch the lake and fireworks! Neighbors were great but we did have a young kid from somewhere down the road banging on our door at 3am multiple times during our stay. Luckily it didn’t wake up our young...

« I do not think the pictures actually do this home justice. The views are amazing. There is so much space for kids and adults. The screened in porch was so amazing. The whole family loved swimming and using diving boards. The home was clean and stocked. Very happy with our experience. It was very private and relaxing. 5 »
