« We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. « Beautiful room for such a great price. Loved having a view of the river. Room was extremely clean, shower was very nice and relaxing after a long day. Only cons: the beds are a little high. Im only 4'11" and basically had to have a running start to jump into the bed. The bed was also a little more firm than my preference but still very comfortable. Hosts were amazing. Would absolutely rent from them again. »

« Excellent little getaway spot! The cabin is adorable, well-decorated, and well stocked with offline activities. The little AC unit really puts in work and we were never sweaty. The location does a great job of placing you in a perfect viewing location for birds, turtles, and butterflies. We were able to walk over to the winery fairly easily. »

« We started off our short little trip with a horrid hotel and ended it at this super cute and very accommodating camp ground. We had originally booked just a one night stay at the campground for a 2 day stay & play at bush gardens but then the family decided we shouldn’t drive up then go to the theme park but that we should come the night before. Well we booked a hotel room because the campground didn’t have an earlier night. The hotel was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at, like disgusting so...

« The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. »

« This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. »

« Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here! »

« I sent my wife, her foreign guest, and the neighbor on an outing—mainly because the noise level at home had reached “incoming artillery level”.I steered them away from repetitive shopping, they enjoyed some fresh air, and I found the sound of silence.Unfortunately… they’ve returned.They loved it. »

« The property was great, awesome cabin with all that we needed. Cutest general store and great playgrounds. Dog park for a pet and very convenient. Only negative is that it is directly beside a very active railroad track. After the first night you get used to it though. Very friendly, very clean! »

« We loved this spot! We were 6 minutes from Busch Gardens and had everything we need for morning before hitting the park and a great place to relax and clean up after a long day. Beds were comfortable and space had everything we needed! We will be back the next time we get a trip in the area!!! »

« This house was perfect for our family reunion. We had ages ranging from older adults to six years old and everyone commented about how they loved this house. The owners are very communicative and set up the sleeping arrangements perfectly. It’s ideally situated to do all the fun things around and we would definitely stay here again! »

« Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out. »
