« I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again if I ever came to Algona. And probably one of the best reasons to stay here is the garage if you were here during the...

« Loved the open concept living room and kitchen for visiting. Very nice outdoor fireplace for cooler evenings. Property was clean and well stocked. »

« It was clean and more spacious than I thought. Very relaxing sitting spot near the lake. It has sun and shade. Quiet and peaceful. »

« My family used to live just across the lake from this house so it was great to come back and spend time at Lake Cornelia. This is a great little retreat. We so enjoyed our time. »

« We enjoyed our stay immensely at the Shouse at Highland Hills Hideout. It was clean, cozy, and super comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, very easy to communicate with. Then there are the cows! It was very relaxing. We visited the Grotto of the Redemption in West Bend while we were there. Wonderful.Plenty of cafes in Emmetsburg if you don't feel like cooking.We look forward to staying here again. »

« We had a wonderful stay at this property with family! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The kitchen was fully stocked. We loved spending time visiting in the sunroom and playing cards at the kitchen table. The location was is wonderful right on Hall lake with an amazing view! There is also a public park very close called Amber Lake Park. We can’t wait to come back »

« Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. We will definitely book again!! »

« We often stay at Vrbo's when we travel. We were very happy with our stay at the Bluebird House. The historic nature of the house was something my SIL and I really liked. And the house was completely updated and had everything a traveler could need was provided. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Margaret and Joe. Overall, our stay was great! »

« We had a great stay! The place was very nice, very clean, and beautifully decorated. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it comfortable and welcoming. The entire property was really well done, we truly enjoyed it! »

« We loved your home! It was perfect for our crew while baling corn stalks. It was very nice and quiet neighborhood and close to town! The home was not as clean as we expected property is listed as pet free but we found dog hair very much in the main area and master bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning. « We had an amazing time! This house is located in a perfect location; short walk to a beautiful park, out the patio door to a nice beach. Short drive to free Mini Golf and the Aquatic Park for swimming if you want a day away from the beach. There was a Walmart, Hy-Vee and Fareway close by for any shopping needs.
