„My husband and I, both seniors, and our elderly dog very much enjoyed our 5 day stay at faye's place. All on one floor,clean,quiet,comfortable,well outfitted, everything we needed!We also very much enjoyed the fenced yard and gazebo,good for reading and napping. Our grandkids visited and loved all the vintage "toys". Also hosts very responsive when a repair was needed Faye's place is very special!“

„We are 4 women in our eighties who have been friends since grade school. We take an annual 4 day trip each summer. This year we wanted to learn about the Driftless area of southern MN and WI. The mansion in La Crosse was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Cargill-Pettibone mansion. Lots of room and nice accommodations. We would definitely recommend it to a larger group. “

„I booked this room because the photos looked decent. Boy was I wrong. I showed up and the lobby was about 40 degrees. Started the check in process and the card door things were broken. So none of the door locks worked, which also means you could just walk into any room, also that means if we left, anyone could walk into our room. It took 20 mins for them to find a room for us. We go in and they had not cleaned the bathroom, pee stains on toilet, no towels, burn holes in all the furniture. I went ...

„When I arrived to check in there were no rooms available. I had messaged the VRBO owner to let him know that I would not be arriving until 11:30 pm and he said it would be fine. When i arrived the hotel was out of rooms and it was incredibly dirty. I have tried contacting the VRBO owner and he has said he will look into it. I had to pay an extreme amount to stay at another hotel on graduation weekend. “

„This and many other hotels owned by similar owners have given the poorest customer service for online reservations. I ordered a room with a King sized bed, but was presented a room with two queens. They tried to make me pay twice even though I told them I paid through VRBO. That was an absolute fiasco. I could go on. It wasn't a nice stay. “

„This property was so charming! It appeared to be nearly brand new - very clean and new finishings. The views all around the property were beautiful! Easy to access via keypad and ample parking right outside the unit. Very friendly dog on the property that eagerly greeted us each time we came or went. Huge plus!
