„Honestly a magical weekend. Rustic and relaxed, a perfect place to unplug. The hosts are lovely and found the perfect balance of being around if we needed something and leaving us to our own time and space. Looking forward to go back in another season to experience the beauty of this place through a different lens. “

„Great place to stay that feels like ‘home’. My mom and I went and they allowed my dog to join which I am so thankful for. They had their place equipped with anything you may need (-: Impressed! If I could offer only suggestion, was to have the name off the different coffee pods’ displayed. This place was above my expectations and would recommend it to everyone, Well done! „It was all I expected. The cottage was in prestine condition. The outdoor, screened-in porch was a God send.“

„What an adorable little cabin. Clean and well stocked. The water was shallow off the dock but we were able to use the paddle boards and kayaks provided to paddle out into the deeper water and do some fishing. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This cabin is highly rated for a reason. Would definately recommend.“

„Das Haus liegt direkt am See und bietet sehr viel Platz. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sogar ein Geschirrspüler. Das Haus war nicht ganz so sauber, was vielleicht daran liegt, dass jeder Gast bei Abreise die Böden selber wischen soll. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Waschbecken im Keller Badezimmer sehr verdreckt, deswegen haben wir dieses gar nicht erst benutzt. Das Handbuch fanden wir sehr gut, da dort alles, was das Haus und den Aufenthalt betrifft, sehr gut erklärt ist. ...

„This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts.“

„Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). „Many reviews substantiate that Bedford Lake House is a 5 star property. Check-in, Facilities, Wi-fi, all first class. For our three-generation family of 7 including two young girls of 5 and 7 what made our stay so special. First, the view from the cottage over Devil Lake, the sunsets were amazing. Second, the flower and vegetable garden - where are young girls filled their buckets every day with ripe tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, beans, herbs, strawberries, beets .. the list goes on. ...

„Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. “
