„ Great location and dock space. went on several boat rides in the evening and the views were fantastic .The fire pit is large enough for several people to have great conversations and laughter. The Vrbo app is a challenge but the host (Tom) was great and I would have gave him a 10 but that wasn't a option. I'm looking forward to another stay next year. Thank you so much Mark“

„We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. Then he kindly offered to let us use both of his boats free of charge. We had such a great time! He had kayaks, a lily pad in the water for the kids to play on, a swim platform, a ...

„Such a gem in the city. This is not a typical hotel which is great. It’s a quiet apartment building that is professionally maintained. The room is super clean and just full of character. Cannot be happier with this unique accommodation. Staff really responsive to questions. There could technically be better sound insulation especially in the bathroom area but totally not an issue. Love love it. “

„This home is a great option with its location to everything in Toledo and Northwest Ohio. Fantastic view of the Maumee River with a 3 outdoor decks and a sotting area down at the river bank. Some have shared the neighborhood is suspect, but it is an old and depressed area of Toledo. We didn’t encounter one sketchy moment or even a police siren over our 4 night long weekend stay. „We loved our stay! It was the perfect location as we were visiting my son who goes to Umich. Walking distance to great restaurants and the amazing blank skate creamery is right across the street! „ The house was very comfortable for five adults. We found necessities of things like toilet paper and paper towels plenty for our stay. we also found the kitchen well stocked with necessary items to cook with. we loved the view of the lake.“

„Wonderful whimsical weekend stay. We felt like we'd landed at Hagrids Hut, surrounded by the forbidden forest. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for somw off grid shenanigans. Beautiful marked trails to explore through old wood growth and marshlands with wildlife galore.“

„The owners and staff are terrific - very welcoming and caring. The cabin is cute and cozy. The river runs right in front of the cabin, with access to kayaks, etc. right there. Waterville is a very cute town with good eateries. I loved the Toledo Zoo which is nearby. Do be aware, however, if you are looking for an isolated cabin in the woods, this one is part of 12 cabins along the river, like a campground. It was quiet and everyone was great, but you will have neighbors. I loved my stay ...

„We had an amazing time. The kids never left the beach area. Plenty of things to do from paddleboat, to kayaks, to just regular swimming. Fun for all ages! The views are beautiful. One of the best vacations we ever had as a family. The host was very accommodating and responsive! We loved it here. Definitely a spot to come back to. “
