„We chose this spot to escape the late July heat in south Georgia, and it did not disappoint! The cabin has great air circulation and AC if needed. We dined out on the deck, took long walks with the dog down and back up the steep mountain road, and hiked on trails near Franklin. The Lazy Hiker Brewing Company is a cool place to raise a pint.“

„Very nice location , very nice house with all we needed. Host , Ted very quick in answering our question. His assistant , Crystal stop by and help us reprogram one of the TV sets back to Sat. There is some farm land in the distance as you can hear a roaster crow about 6am. Most mornings we would sitting on the porch having coffee and enjoying the scenery of tall trees and clouds moving through the mountain ridge. Had no problem with insect day or night. Had 2 deer grazing in the front yard by ...

„Great area for riding the twisties. Highway is close by as well as easy access to some of the best motorcycle rides in Eastern NC. Ideal location to explore all Franklin/Highlands/Maggie Valley, etc has to offer. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples on the main floor. More beds downstairs for larger groups. Plenty of seating in living room but we loved being in the sunroom enjoying the cabin-like feel.Our host was very accessible via text. We thank him for hosting us and our 2 dogs.“

„Enjoyed our stay. House was perfectly located for what we wanted to do. It was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the view, hot tub, and space. Microwave was a little iffy but managed to make it work every time. Would definitely stay here again. “

„My overall impressions are very good. I loved the constant babbling of the creeks. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. I do have a couple of suggestions for the owners. The lockbox needs to be replaced. Please consider replacing the mattress and pillows in the bedroom. Also please consider replaceing the couch. Other than that, the place is wonderful!“

„We visited in June of last year and enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back again this year. Everything was great, no complaints from our family. This lodge is a great spot for a fun family vacation. “

„Perfect little place to stay while visiting the area and hiking parts of the AT, only 1 mile from the Tellico Gap trailhead. Cabin had everything we needed including a kitchen suitable for cooking meals. It was pretty remarkable the way they fit everything in! A non-working light over the kitchen sink was the only real issue, especially trying to cook after dark. Hope the owner has that replaced for the next visit. Highly recommed the hike up to Wesser Bald tower.“
