„Matteo (host) was exceptional in advance and during the stay. Accommodating, provided useful tips and local places to try. This venue is the larger 3 room villa separate from the Vistamar property offering more independence (solitude) but misses out on none of the services (cleaning, laundry, etc.) - so best of both worlds. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but mosquitos and humid climate dampness) means light sleepers will struggle. And that’s assuming the roosters and dogs don’t get you ...

„This was a clean cosy condo unit in a small 6 unit building. Security was excellent, the pool was clean and the other residents were super welcoming. Highlights were the daily barefoot beach walks and the magnificent sunsets. Both the property owner and the property manager were very helpful. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing home base from which to explore the Ecuadorian coast.“

„Die Besitzerfamilie ist äusserst aufmerksam und das Essen dort ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Anlage befindet sich direkt am Meer mit eigenem Zugang. Die Basic Hütte ist schlicht, hat aber alles was man braucht (kleiner Kühlschrank, Tisch und Sitzmöglichkeiten in und vor der Hütte und ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett). “

„We enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean . We had a few problems that the owner addressed quickly like when the air conditioner broke they fixed it. The manger of property was awesome but the house needs some serious updating, everything metal was covered in rust and cracks in ceilings, walls and the smell of gas from appliances was bad enough to get headaches. The TV was broken, allegedly taken from the neighbors trash can some years ago....but the property manager Jim helped everytime ...

„Everything just like the photos and description of the property. I recommend the house gets airconditioning in the bedrooms or at least more fans and mosquito screen in the doors to the balcony and windows. In the rainy season the high temperature, humidity and mosquitos make it unconfortable, especially at night.“

"Nice Hotel with a good breakfast, but most of the staff at the front desk doesn't speak English and I got charched twice (once by Expedia, and the Hotel wanted to pay me again). Finally I got the money back but it needed two more visits at the Hotel until I got the money back. "
