« My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

« Cute little cabin, with everything you need for a few nights. Quick walk to lake, with dock. Kids had a great time on the lake in kayaks and paddleboards. Great for fishing bass. The restaurant was not open while we were there, so can't comment on the food. We made all our meals. »

« Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

« The northeast exposure was the best view. Windows gave a great view. Large kitchen, comfortable beds. When we discovered the (grill) propane tanks were empty, someone was there within 15 minutes with new ones. »

« We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Like some other guests mentioned, having Wi-Fi or a few board games available would be a nice touch for the quiet moments. A new set of skillets in the kitchen would also be a much-appreciated upgrade. Overall, a great stay with just a few small suggestions to make it even better. »

« Our family of ten had a wonderful time!! The home is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. But the best part is the view, the access to the water, walks up and down the beautiful lane, plenty of blackberries to pick, and the glimpses of different wildlife! »

« It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. The high tide and low tides were an adventure especially as it was full moon. The surprise on the last few days was the view of Mt. Rainer. Thank you Robert for a great place to stay will be telling friends about it »

« This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. The showers were great...
