« Great place to spend a weekend or week away! The kayaks and canoes were amazing to spend time out on the lake and river. Nearby nature preserves allowed for some fantastic hikes. Comfortable beds and great spaces for lounging and cooking with an incredible porch with view of the lake to watch the bald eagles and herons while sipping your morning coffee. Highly recommend! »

« The house on the lake is very well situate with direct access to the Matanzas lake. The property is conveniently built on one level, and has great amenities to enjoy a lake getaway vacation. Fishing, kayaking and spending time outdoor is facilitated conveniently. The house itself is well provisioned with everything necessary for the stay. « The property was perfect for 5 adults. Plenty of room and beds. The location is close enough to bars, entertainment, and the casino. Being able to use the garage was a bonus. No issues. »

« The place was beautiful and we loved the space. We didn’t love having to park our cars a block away behind bars and it was very noisy through the night. »

« This is a wonderfully unique home with delightful surprises at every turn. The attention to detail is amazing and thoughtful consideration is evident everywhere. Loved the fire pit in the wonderful large yard and this location has easy access to restaurants, businesses and the interstate. I most definitely would stay there again if in the area. »

« Very unique space! We only had two of us but could have one or two others. Bed upstairs was very comfortable. Used the downstairs space to get ready for our wedding. Rustic brick and nice furniture made for good photos. »

« The owners spent a ton of money remodeling the place and did a good job. We rented it for the holidays but the day before the cleaners noticed a problem and the owners had to call us to cancel our reservation. At first that sounds horrible, but it was not due to their neglect and had they allowed us to stay the result would have been less then great. I am thankful they sacrificed their income to make sure we did not experience a bad rental. »

« We had the best experience from the first contact with Aubrey to our first tour of the place to our countless questions and our stay. It was clean, comfortable , and beautiful! Great place for families to meet and relax around the fire or in the beautiful dining room or the many other rooms. We appreciate having our own space with private bathrooms. We can’t say enough positive things about the place. »

« Host allowed us to check-in an hour early. The main headline of this property — and the “popular amenities” section — highlights a hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we booked. I understand that things can break unexpectedly, but the hot tub issue was only disclosed one day before arrival (and only after I asked about it). By that time, rebooking wasn’t an option.
