« The Windmill Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our family stay over the long Geode Fest weekend. The interior is filled with comfy furniture and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax after hiking all day. My son especially loved the oversized cushion chairs! The location is out-of-the-way and quiet, but the roads are well-kept, and getting in and out to Keokuk, Nauvoo, and so on was a breeze! We were worried about space with having family for Christmas, but the open floor plan with two couches and a love seat that we pulled in from the other room, along with 4 bar stools around the island was perfect! The home was beautiful, super clean, and had everything we needed down to qtips and hand warmers!! »
