Our host was very responsive to a few questions we had, and added several sweet personal touches to our stay that made the house cozy and welcoming, especially for my kids. We hiked the Catawba Trail, spent some time in nearby Black Mountain, and made s'mores by the firepit. It was a great weekend getaway for a family. “

The cons are the whole place feels a little bit shabby, with all the woodwork caulked but not finished, lots of stinkbugs inside, and poorly equipped, mis-matched kitchen gear. „The whole stay was so relaxing and the cabin was so beautiful. Perfect for what we had in mind. It had everything we needed. We just had to bring ourselves and food. The cabin was very clean. We had a blast with the pool table. The back yard wasvery spacious and well groomed. It was hard to leave when the time came to pack up and go at the end of our stay.
