We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. „Very welcoming owners to their under cover eating area with our dog. Very accommodating by delivering our dinner to our cottage. Dressed in 1800’s era clothing to celebrate 175th year of settlement. Interesting display of old cameras and art works. “

„ A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend“

„great property had a fantastic time. My only feedback would be that there needed to be better kitchen equipment (quality of knives large pot) extra toilet paper, cling wrap and garbage bags. There was only the garbage bag in the bin and no others that we could find.Don’t get me wrong you have a lovely place there on the river and we would defiantly stay again.Thanks for having us. "Sehr freundlicher Inhaber, der auch Deutsch spricht. Unser Zimmer war super schön, fast schon Luxus. Das Hotel liegt reltiv mittig und in der Nähe der Hauptstraße, man kann von dort alles leicht zu Fuß erreichen."
