« We really enjoyed the proximity to the lake. Great views of Little Spirit Lake and Big Spirit Lake. The weather was rainy and overcast so it made for a relaxing time in the cabin. And it is a cozy cabin. We had a great time. »

« we had a great time on east okoboji. FYI there was plenty of room to park our truck and boat trailer side by side. Its a nice quite part of the lake to get away from the hustle and bustle....but close enough to search it out too. »

« Thank you Paul and Micah! We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful house on the lake! The place was spotless—so clean and beautifully remodeled from top to bottom. The décor and overall aesthetics were stunning, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel cozy yet luxurious. One of the highlights was having access to kayaks, which made exploring the lake even more fun. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that serene, sparkling lake each morning was...

« This was a fantastic studio-like place to stay! My fiancé & I went up to the Winter Games & this was so close to all the activities & places we wanted to go. I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting a cute cozy place to stay!The only thing I will say, the door we had to pull tighter than normal to make sure the lock would work but even that wasn’t bothersome! »

« This place was amazing to stay at, got an amazingly quick response when we had a concern about the fridge leaking (sent someone out within 20 minutes), the home is beautiful & perfect location!! Cannot say enough good things! »

« Very clean. Perfect location with short drive to everything. We really loved the large garage for prepping our gear and parking inside during the sub zero temps. Only complaint was the head of the bed was against the window which was cold. Otherwise. Very comfortable. One suggestion, have a little creamer and sugar for coffee. »

« This was our second stay at The Getaway. It's such a perfect place for us- close to Okoboji, a nice swimming pool and a playground. The accommodations are clean, eye appealing & have everything you need for a comfortable stay! The Cornhole game was a fun addition! »
