„This was not what I was expecting. It is actually a beautiful home with multiple different efficiencies under one roof. The house is in disrepair and could use some maintenance. There was no AC in the master bedroom and the second bedroom had 3 beds in it. Two of the beds only had foam mattresses. The location is beautiful and close to town.“

„Great place just down the road from the National Park. Took 5 minutes or so to get to the main entrance. The unit is part of the main residence, which was quiet, however you could hear the wood creek above you when the residence walks. Like all Hawaii you are subject to the roosters waking you up early but definitely recommend if you need a place to crash VERY close to the park.“

„We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoor patio. Rocking on the chairs to decompress after a busy travel day was perfect. I personally loved the outdoor shower but it was not private - you share it with another unit. Hosts were great and lovely people. Their dogs are so sweet and gentle! They location is a bit of a drive from the main roads to Hilo but excellent access to volcano national park. The unit had everything we could need. Great stay.“

„Tolle, große Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Hat alles was man braucht und mega gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in Hilo. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 5-10 Minuten in Hilo Downtown und bei Supermärkten. Absolute Weiterempfehlung ! :)“

This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). „Lights on and music playing when we arrived. I was amazed at how well they manage the moisture in their location. With a dehumidifier and air purifier it was not musty at all. I only comment on that because in previous experiences at different places in that area it was definitely musty. Lots of amenities and good information left for guests. “
