« We did not stay as planned. My wife had an emergency appendectomy on Friday afternoon and we did not make it to Kona. The owner had contacted me earlier with instructions and i replied to him that we had to cancel due to the medical emergency. I am waiting to see if i will get a refund from the owner as the cancellation was not in accordance to the cancellation guidelines. »

« The Promise Tree provided wonderful space for our family to spend time together while giving everyone their own space. The property has the feel of a lived in family home with all of the extras (beach chairs and umbrellas, coolers, water and yard toys, indoor and outdoor dishes) that you don’t often find at a VRBO. « The house was absolutely amazing. All ten of us had plenty of space. The view was stunning. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. It turns out we much preferred it’s true location up the hill away from the bustle of town. It was so beautiful. I am glad it was not a short walk to Taco Bell as stated in the listing. »
