Plenty of evidence of black bears but no sightings. Countless squirrels though. They’re striped, much smaller than the grey ones and squeak loudly from the tree tops. I watched two chase each other madly back and forth and round and round a tree stump!

« Just here for one night. Room was huge at 1,100 sf. Very comfortable. Snow was bad and it was a Monday so the property was quiet, people were friendly, shops were great. Ice rink was active. Our room was clean and in good shape considering properties where there is a lot of outdoor activities including skiing, tend to get worn a little more than a regular hotel. You could see that this was a ski resort that was well maintained. »
